porn contributes to anxiety and depression ofc it’s bad. it can also make real sex be not as enjoyable is what i’ve read. also nudes have the same effect on the brain.

It also contributes to this aspect of society we live in where we are all just constantly over stimulated as hell.

And when you pick it apart, it's really disgusting that said porn addict will see maybe several hundred women nude or having intercourse, and having favourites among them he may watch routinely, before even interacting with his first partner. It's legitimately disgusting.

I stopped watching porn like a year ago or so. I also practice very high self control in regards to pleasure ( fully free from porn, I do self pleasure ~once a month or so and I'd use my imagination or a picture of some clothed celebrity in my head ).

I stopped being like nervous around women in general after a while of staying away. Probably from my brain rewiring away from this subconscious need to associate women with sex or needing to pleasure me. When I see some people who get like excessively awkward around women or talking to them like some sort of alien, the first thought I get in my head is "Is this guy a porn addict"

Not trying to say that all porn addicts are this way and such but that's generally the guy feeling I get about it
