gotta disagree though, good looking people dont need to be funnier bc they are already always in the spotlight, one girl in my school is the best example, she dont have no personality except being good at school but still is popular, thats why some ugly/averege looking people develop the skill to be funny to be in the spotlight, some go the edgy teenager route some go the normal route, but in my experience good looking people are often unfunier.

I guess maybe its just my experience, boring pretty people in my old school didn't get too far in the popular social schemes, ugly people are more vindictive and have a kind of superiority complex when it comes to humour compared to pretty people. Not to be rude or anything but ugly people are more likely to be unpopular and part of those weird friend groups that keep to themselves, in their own social circle they may think they're 'funny' but to other people they most certainly aren't, since popular/pretty people usually interact with more people their humour develops making them funnier.

Yeah sure, for neurodivergent people I don’t really know how easy it is for them. But for neurotypical people it’s really not that hard to find out how to be good at socializing with people. Speaking from experience, when I was very ugly I gained friends because of my funny personality.

for me, popular ppl r better at being funny bc they r able to get to jokes faster. they are receptive to ur ideas, r low inhibition and don't try to push u away, and build off of what u have to say instead of changing the subject. but i remember having to talk to unpopular ppl and it was a dreg bc they dont respond except for a few words and try to cut me off. how can anybody do anything funny when the person is not giving u anything to work with??

Definitely. A handful are nice to everyone, but another handful are only nice to people who are at a certain level on the hierarchy

i remember talking to this popular guy in the hall and he was so high inhib comparing him especailly to him like a few hours ago i saw him with his friends and shit
i just kept thinking that he is not a real popular guy
i thought abt how he was kinda just a parasite and that he only knew those guys bc they all went to the same school together and they all lived close to eachother their whole lives
like a man living off borrowed time bc by high school he wouldnt have any friends
and i remember another girl who always talked to her chinese girl friends (she was chinese girl too)
and she was quite literally benefitting only bc of her race and her gender and that her parents probably knew the other kids parents
but when i talked to her she would stammer and i could tell she couldnt hold the conversation
