then i think what you are asking for is pretty simple. i think if youre gonna date somebody, it should be unproblematic, you should be attracted to them, and they should want to do life with you. seems quite good

but thats exactly why we have to keep showing up honestly. only takes one person to change that forever, even if you dont end up together for the rest of time. that doesnt make love impossible, just more intentional. and i think thats actually great

to be honest, i shouldnt even be talking about love. i am an ultra positive romantic and can be delusional at times

yah i get that and i respect that way of thinking tbh. I guess for me, I've just learned not to keep going or pursuing someone that doesn't show the same type of enegery back. And it's not bitterness yk? I just value mutual effort. That's probably why i never been in anything serious honestly.

it’s best to be positive honestly. sometimes being pessimistic ends up ruining something that could’ve been good. staying hopeful doesn’t make you delusional i think it just means you still believe in love.

I think that’s a healthy way to look at it. wanting mutual effort is just knowing your worth. honestly, a lot of people settle for less because theyre scared to ask for that. I respect that. it probably means when you do end up in something serious, itll actually be worth it

however miscommunications happen, and you shouldnt let those get in the way of something real. if you think youre not getting energy back, i would maybe talk about it first/bring it up. i would hate to give up on something too soon. not saying you do, but its a hypothetical
