Hi everyone,
I’m male, 185 cm tall, and currently weigh 153 kg. Two months ago, I weighed 170 kg, and I’ve managed to lose quite a bit of weight through a calorie deficit and OMAD (one meal a day). However, I’m struggling with one thing: I feel like I’m falling back into old habits. I’ve started snacking between meals again and going over my daily calorie limit of 1,800 calories. The thing is, it’s not physical hunger but rather psychological hunger. I tend to eat out of boredom, even when I’m not actually hungry.Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?
Reta isn’t an option for me because it’s too expensive and often impure.
I’ve also come across the concept of chewing and spitting (chewing food and then spitting it out without swallowing) as a possible way to satisfy the psychological craving for the taste of snacks without actually consuming the calories.
Has anyone tried this, or would you advise against it?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you could share!
