Do you enjoy life in this country ? I’m not even talking about financially. physically, mentally , emotionally I really just haven’t enjoyed living here the past 5 years, so much problems. I really wish I grew up in Europe.

I feel like money really covers up the problems in this country. Not only is this country so divided but everyone has bad mental health.

My current stance on living in this country:

Don’t live in a small city (sub 500k population , there are exceptions) only live in a big city where everything is accessible. No point in moving here if it’s not for work , or education.

Living in a big city in America is really peak.

Quite frankly, I hate it. I feel no connection, no culture, no proper values aside from needing a good education and money.

I have some friends who have immigrant parents and they grew up with the high value of family and have cultural foods and company. I actually envy it deeply because I haven't even had a family dinner at a table since I was 11.

Everything is depressing because, I know financial complications shouldn't be mentioned that much, but it impacts my emotional health. You can't go out and do much of anything without spending money and a pretty large amount of it without realizing. I'm broke so I am so frequently inside.

Celebrities are out of their mind and cinema has lost a lot of meaning, repeating stars.

There is a huge party craze with people around my age and it's insufferable.

I feel I can hardly connect with anyone and there is so much feeling lost in being here.

It's defined as the dream but it doesn't feel like much of one at all.
