Do you have a dissonance between emotional perception and logic perception while talking to others?

I asked myself this question because sometimes I perceive emotions late
hmm no i don't think so

No i always notice little ques that i later can confirm i was right about ig high emotional intelligence

Almost never, no. I am a rather logical person.

Well, it's your lucky day because I know that schizoid is not schizophrenic
I really think that cognitive ability is a brake for schizophrenia

Intelligence can be a psychotic propedeutic

doesn't count if you have other pds diagnosed in combo with schizoid, sorry
Nah, it’s totally normal to have schizoid with other diagnoses. Having more than one just means things are a bit more complicated, not less real.

i guess so. sometimes its better to understand another person's perspective logically before having an emotional reaction. do you think you filter things through logic before you let yourself feel them, or just naturally process emotions slower? im not sure what my answer would be

Dissonance would imply you hold the logical and the emotional perception simultaneously, not that one lags behind. For dissonance, yes there're moments when a argument/topic is heated, so you understand it logically but emotionally resist it. When that occurs I'd try to minimize the emotional leakage to the convo.

For asynchrony, yes similar in a way that sometimes I might focus on the logical aspect and the emotional comes later.
