Do you guys think the reason why we have smaller jaws then people in the past is because of the fact we chew harder things less or that due to us chewing harder things less overtime we evolved not to have them? Personally the “chewing will help develop your jaw” doesn’t make sense to me so I believe the second reason.
 
A bit of both tbh. Apparently some also have smaller jaws in the womb and smaller jaws run in families, so I think for some it’s genetic, whereas some don’t chew enough

A bit of both we don’t have to chew raw hard meat from dinasours anymore so it evolved into being smaller and if you don’t chew a lot your jaw would be smaller
