Chewing doesn't affect ramus length, crossbite is not a bad guessYou may be chewing more on one side than the other, you also might have a crossbite
Check with an orthodontist, they're the specialist that'll give you proper adjustments. Is the asymmetry easily visible ?Guys ramus on one side of my ramus is longer than the other which are the right side longer than the left one by 1-2cm my right ramus length is 5.cm and the left one is 3-3,5cm , what is the causes and how do I fix it?
Yea but the excessive chewing could cause uneven masseter hypertrophy on one side idk just a guessChewing doesn't affect ramus length, crossbite is not a bad guess
Then he would talk about a masseter asymmetry, also masseter hypertrophy doesn't affect the muscle's height but size (like every other muscle). we're on the basis that OP knows the difference between a masseter and the ramus but without photos to help us there's nothing much we can do, if he does have a crossbite like you suggested then he should see an orthodontist anyways, seems like the only viable answer.Yea but the excessive chewing could cause uneven masseter hypertrophy on one side idk just a guess
Yea h canβt really do much other than surgery or maybe some ortho applianceThen he would talk about a masseter asymmetry, also masseter hypertrophy doesn't affect the muscle's height but size (like every other muscle). we're on the basis that OP knows the difference between a masseter and the ramus but without photos to help us there's nothing much we can do, if he does have a crossbite like you suggested then he should see an orthodontist anyways, seems like the only viable answer.
