Hi chuds,

I get mad razor burn on my neck, it kinda unappealing looks like acne, but ppl only notice up close. (which is a problem cuz i slay the ocasional foid unlike most on here)
Anyway i tried using a 3 blade normie shaver, single blade safety razar and lots of diff shaving creme. And now im using a eletric razar on dry skin, also tried wet didnt help. It wont go away. I would get lazar but i might wanna grow a beard one day i think they stops it right? idk also expensive. Also chatgpt suggested some fuckass skincare routine for me neck, but im not doing all that shit.

any1 know how 2 fix?

to be honest but main thing for me wasn't like actually the razor itself but that like aftershave lotion you can get. i used to shave then put on moisturiser or lotion then get red shit on my face but then i got an actual aftershave balm and it helped a lot. it works as a moisturiser but it's just like low alcohol and no fragrance and all that shit

Show me which brand did you get for your safety razor and blades brand.

After that i could recommend you better advices to shave properly

Try to shave with a Yaqi synthetic badger brush and take a look at the Proraso Blue & White line, made for sensitive skin

You should never bulk buy blades if you don't know how they react to your skin.

The King.c.gillette one is very mild so combined with a mild blade, people will struggle to shave since you need to do more passes and apply more pressure. Next time buy a better razor like a Muhle R89 and a sample of different blades brands to test

Also you stop to shave against the grain and limit yourself to with the grain & accross the grain to limit irritation and bumps

I shave this way and it's far better for creating a slick lather rather than using canned stuff
Yeah they have pre-shave, cream and after shave balm, also using an alum stone can helps

Normally on amazon they sold a sample pack, where do you live ?

Consider the first sample, since i do like Feather blades with my own king c gillette (do just one pass with the grain tho because feather blades are sharp as fuck), then gillette platinum, treet platinum, personna, and both astra are sharp too

Try with your current one with a proper shaving cream and synthetic brush (yaqi ones can be found on aliexpress if it's cheaper for you)
u thinks i need the Muhle R89 asap?
If you can found it on amazon, buy just the R89 head, it's cheaper and it's compatible with the King c gillette handle

I bought the shaving creme, should i also get pre shave? usually i would just wet my face.
And after shave balm? Or is moisturiser fine?
Also you change razor blade daily? i used to change twice a week i think, maybe contributed to my problems.
With the blade sample pack, it comes with 16 razor blades, but how long should i stick to one to tell if its actually good for me or not, and i tell just like visually?

Proraso pre-shave (esp the blue and white versions) is really good, if you can buy it, go for it. Apply on the face and let your skin absorb it for 5mins
Which shaving cream color did you bought ?
Also can you find synthetic shaving brush ?

Yeah their after-shave balms are also really good, it's quick absorbed. I find it easier to dry on face. Keep the moisturizer for the evening before sleep.
You can also try Nivea after-shave balm for sensitive skin and Palmolive shaving cream if you can find it in Australia. It's a staple in France but ik it's an europeean thing.

I can get 3 good one-pass shave with the feather blade. They hella sharp but dull quicker than other brands. It's up to your own personal comfort

Stick to one blade brand for few weeks and write down your feelings on each shave, post-shave etc.

Nivea is really popular here, ill get that for aftershave balm. But did you mean dont apply moisturiser at all in the morning or just on neck?

Will also order a Alum Stone Block, did some reserach, seems legit.

If you have the white cream then yes, you could try the blue later.

Depends when you shave, if it's the morning, the after shave balm is hydrating enough, apply your regular moisturizer on the other part of the face yk

Buy the cheapest one, it's just a square rock mineral lol
other option was green but idk that
Green one is mentholated/eucalyptus so i don't recommend it especially if you have sensitive skin, and i enjoy mine only in summer to get a nice kick

Badger hair and pig hair brushes are bit rougher on the face, i don't really recommend it for beginners, also it needs to be cleaned/dried properly because it's animal hair

Do you have access to aliexpress ? You can find Yaqi synthetic brushes for cheap, idk how customs work in your country

If you can, shave in the shower. If you bought things on aliexpress, buy a small mirror with a holder
