Hey guys,so today I recently found a thread made by @over0 about thyroidmaxxing and how to boost thyroid hormones. I will be reviewing her or his thread,I don’t know the gender. We will analyze the thread’s content and and also most importantly what you can do to boost thyroid hormone or regulate it.

I had to get on my IPad to get better screenshots so thank me for the effort. So at first we can see that she or he,I’m just going to say you,we can see that you introduce the thyroid gland. But I have to be honest,I think almost everyone here knows what the thyroid gland is.

I have to be sorry, but this is the part of your thread where I suddenly just get bored. I merged these sections together simply because they’re about the same topic: hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and more. But here’s the problem,if you’re not a basement Rotter who fuels himself with chips only the whole day then you wouldn’t have a big risk of developing any of these thyroid issues. Most people have a fairly functional thyroid, but in the philosophy of Ray Peat, polyunsaturated fats are harmful and inhibit thyroxine release from the thyroid gland. I bet you,no one here has major thyroid issues like these and other hormonal problems such as hypogonadism are more common.

So,what do you recommend to fix thyroid gland function?

So,iodine rich foods are great because the thyroid gland optimized iodine to produce T4 which is just thyroxine that’s basic. Selenium helps convert T4 into T3 which is good, but the foods you recommended are bad. Because nuts and seeds have phytic acid which hinder further use of micronutrients in the body,I recommend something a bit more animal like. Eat a healthy nutrient dense diet? That’s obvious I’m not sure why we should eat good for well physical clarity and health. Don’t cut or diet? Here’s the thing, when you go in a deficit your overal thyroid activity reduces and that’s why sometimes in the middle of losing weight it slows down despite eating not much food. But you can do things like supplement T3 or T4 itself to speed up thermoneogensis better and lose weight even faster. Yes metal and pollutants too,but they’re almost unavoidable, almost everything around us has endrocrine disrupters. But Anti nutrients from your nuts are not the greatest. Excersing yes,but almost every hormone goes back to baseline after the exercise has been done and in order to reduce oxidative stress to have proper thyroid function you must relax and take more breaks. 8 hours of sleep is common logic,it’s stupid to even put that because you need sleep for all hormonal function.

So? What could you have wrote more?
Your thread was mostly discussing major thyroid issues, and if your thread was based on that then it would be good but you were supposed to also give us extra insight. See every hormone needs multiple processes to be synthesized by the body,so what do you also need for thyroid? Glucose and fructose are important for also for other endrocrine processes to sync all processes of hormones perfectly, cholesterol is a saturated fat,yet it works like a hormone by being the building block of testosterone and cholesterol is synthesized in the liver by sugar in the process. Also a stable blood sugar that shouldn’t crash often in the day helps with thyroid conversion and release. Because think of it,almost everything contains fructose or glucose in our body, even sperm. For a good blood sugar that shouldn’t sink you should consume orange juice,I drink half a liter a day, that’s because of the vitamin C.

Thyroid hormone is amazing,it boost IGF-1,baseline Testosterone and almost everything. It made 2 cm taller in a week back then. @over0 mirin thread, just make it bette brah

Approximately 1% of people in the US have hyperthyroidism
Approximately 5% of adults in the US over the age of 12 have hypothyroidism
It is pretty common and it's often undiagnosed which I mentioned. I kinda disagree with the nuts and seeds in some cases as women need fatty acids such as these and anti nutrients are kinda cope + just have a good diet all around anyway

It’s 1 in 100 and 5 in 100 that’s less than autism. Unless you eat like shit and do nothing there isn’t a big risk of getting any issue. And yes,the anti nutrients are not cope because they bind with micronutrients.
