i 14f had a rpe installed about 2 months ago ive expanded about ~6mm and yesterday i got single tie braces. From what i understood these type of “boneless braces” expand the teeth and align them more? (2nd opinion please) Also they didnt take out the rpe they just told me to stop turning it.
some differences i saw after rpe
slightly more upturned nose
canthal tilt also got slightly more upturned
lips look more balanced (i have a small upper lip)
better breathing ofc
Better natural tongue posture
better lip to nose ratio
honestly longer midface? This might be placebo effect but i genuinelg think it got longer but also wider
