Discussion Schopenhauer describes my life completely

Basically I was reading his philosophies and it is something I’ve been saying without knowing it already had been said.

Particularly in the part of true suffering and how most ppl will never experience it

Once someone has the intellect required to see through this system of society, life and biological social roles people partake in all will to live is gone.

You start to view existence more as a predictable play where everyone is acting without the knowledge of it, people live for pleasure but never stop to think why.

His thoughts on this make complete sense and most ppl will never stop to truly think about it all

anyway me thinks philosophy is just another means to gain power. its like the socially isolated ppl using iq points to feel better and gain power over the normiefags. if u look at the lives of these philosophers, it tells a different story more often than not.

Both of them are kinda depressing but tbh Nietzsche is misunderstood because of what Nazis did to misinterpret his sayings on things like the Übermensch

ye but i think the nazi stuff is p much washed now. wasnt his publisher a jew or sum.

schop is too defeatist and pessimistic, and was influenced by Eastern ideas like Buddhism (massive cope btw) and Vedanta. nietzsche went from being a copenhauer fanboy to his strongest critic, so his body of work is varied and often contradictory. anyway, the latter nietzsche isn't that depressing, it actually makes u want to live without framing delulu narratives
