i sort of agree. if something was bad enough to where you drop a person completely, then you probably shouldnt give a person a second chance. but i only agree because there are very few cases i would do that to a friend or something. i may consider it, but it would take a lot.

its different if they drop you, because everybody's threshold of what they can handle is different. if somebody dropped me and then asked for another chance, i may accept it. if i were the one to do it though, probably not. things arent usually the same after if i think of examples like with past friends.

idk I have a problem with forgiving people easily, the second a person is nice to me again i'll give them another chance and forget about everything that's happened like no matter how they treated me / what they did I forgive them. I feel like this stems from being groomed at 11 i'm literally trying not to be like this anymore but it's been hard breaking that cycle esp when it comes to older guys (16 n older) . I don't really bring this up often, I personally think it makes me look weak even tho thinking this way has basically been hardwired into my brain for a couple years.

when it comes to other people it depends on the situation, how their partner treated them in the past, and the way they ask for a second chance. people make mistakes obvi so I guess you could try to view it from their point of view. (but don't go back if they did something that seriously damaged you mentally physically etc etc . ) EDIT: I had to fix ts,I kept using the wrong words </3
