Got an appointment tomorrow with an oculoplastic surgeon. He’s supposed to be really good, especially at blephs, and from what I’ve heard he’s kind of conservative. From what I can tell he does quite a lot of canthopexies, but I haven’t seen anywhere that he actually does canthoplasties, it’s just not listed. That’s what worries me because I honestly want my cantal tilt improved and I’m not looking for the super safe route, I just want it to be more pronounced.

I’m also considering throwing fat grafting into the equation at some point, like under the eyes and maybe in the brow area, just to sharpen the look even more. So that’s another thing I might ask about down the line.

What I’d like to know is what I should ask him tomorrow to make sure he understands what I’m after and how I can really confirm he’s the right surgeon for this. Most people on this forum are just kids or teens who cope and never actually do anything, so I’d appreciate a serious opinion here

I also made a thread before with two pics of my face, properly taken at eye level with decent lighting and no frauding. In the one where I’m touching my face, if I pull the area up and make it tighter, the eyes look way more pronounced. If you cover the half of the face that isn’t lifted and then the half that is, you can clearly see the difference. That’s basically the look I’m going for.

Good luck, communicate your needs to him clearly.

Mirin, if your comfortable showing your face a before and after would be cool
