We need a tester

It works like this
by being implanted in the cornea to increase stromal thickness and flatten the central cornea:

Implantation
The implant is placed in a stromal pocket or under a flap in the cornea. The pocket or flap is usually created with a femtosecond laser.

Implant shape
The shape of the implant depends on the condition being treated:

Negative meniscus lenticules: Thicker from the center toward the periphery, these implants are used to treat keratoconus.

Positive meniscus lenticules: Thicker in the center and gradually becoming thinner toward the periphery, these implants are used to correct hyperopia.

Implant material
Implants can be made from a variety of materials, including PEG-Lysozyme, collagen, and alginate.
