was an android user my whole life, switched to an iphone 15 and i absolutely hate it. iphone is baby proofed and filled with useless programs. similar to windows. you also gotta accept you have zero control over most of your iphone. which is fine for most but even small things like me being able to plug my android into my pc and use it on my pc n show my friends tiktoks n stupid stuff is impossible. you would need to join a call directly on your phone. i love linux n stuff too though so i think im pretty particular about who has control and where

ive used a lot of different kinds but most of them no longer exist. the only one would be a Motorola just becuz of how cheap they are and how easy they are to customized n stuff. you can get some of their newest n most unique phones for like 200$-300$. small things like shaking my phone for the flashlight was a habit i developed and didnt realize til i switched to an iPhone. obviously not the best option out there but it allowed enough freedom to let me do essentially w/e i wanted but enough structure to let me use it as a daily phone quickly
