I read his novel "Merchant of Venice" in our junior high school English syllabus.

There is a nasty wicked character named Shylock. He was a Jew.

He lended money to some guy for his trip to meet his dream girl. When he couldn't pay on time, evil Shylock demanded his flesh amount of money.

Protagonist's friend even married Shylock's daughter and converted her to Christianity. Shylock only used to hang out with fellow Jews such as Tubal.
