I've never heard of mastic so I'm not sure what it is or what it does. Are you asking if you should try mewing with other food products? If so, diversifying what you chew on throughout the day is not a bad idea for the function of your jaw.

its a super hard gum supposed to train your jaw muscles I'm already mewing the majority of the day and I'm trying to eat harder foods in the diet despite the soft diets I'm around most tof the time

im also consider medium clenching which to new research shows it can help train massertsrs and wont cause bruxium unless I start grinding at night which I don't.

medium clenching also holds my tounge up in a harder postistion

Harder is not inherently better, chewy is best to my understanding. I don't think it's a bad idea to try mastic if you'd like to try it.

Clenching overall is just not good for the health of your teeth. Clenching will cause joint issues over time, even if it doesn't cause unconscious grinding. What study did you read where it said intentional clenching wouldn't cause bruxism?
