Some people say butter is healthy but old school doctors say butter causes heart attacks. I am confused.

I use butter only in morning when I eat 2 eggs fried on a cube of butter (35% of 20gm butter). I eat butter fried eggs daily in morning. I also have 5 soaked almonds, 5 pistachios, 3 walnuts and 3 cashews in the morning too.

Lunch and dinner is cooked with mustard oil. Sorry, we don't have olive oil. What butter does to arteries?

eat more butter and less nuts
dont use mustard oil
you need animal fat in your diet, just make sure the butter doesnt have any added seed oils and is 100% pure butter (if you can get raw)

ditch all nuts and also the seed oils

also ditch the butter if its not from raw milk

Mustard oil has mostly monounsaturated fats. Even if it has PUFAs, omega 3 to omega 6 ratio is more balanced. We used wood pressed mustard oil. It's the only option among all seed oils.

The milk I drink has pretty much cream. My dad still believes that eating red meat means cholesterol

Experts say nuts have good fats. Also mustard oil is the only seed oil with balanced omega 3 to omega 6 ratios.

Mom doesn't have enough time to convert cream to milk. We purchase from market.

no offence

but the "experts" are all biased and wrong

if you want a good fat source go to the market and find some meat with the most yellow looking fat

We have only 3 kinds of meat here - fish, chicken, goat

We sometimes eat fish or chicken few times a month as it's expensive here. Never ate goat since last 2 years.

We purchase meat directly from butcher shop where they kill animal in front of customer's eyes.

Need to live in coastal areas where I can have access to more seafoods but hate their tropical climate.

Chickens are full of antibiotic corn feed crap. No pork since all butchers here are only Muslims.

Yeah I eat eggs on daily basis.

eating red meat means cholesterol yes but ldl cholesterol isnt what causes heart attacks
name me one study on cardiovascular disease being caused by high ldl cholesterol which has DIRECT causation
people who claim to have gotten heart attacks from eating a lot of red meat exclude the fact that their diet is full of seed oils and other zogslop

People believe what doctors say since only they have license to dictate.

Never heard of it. What it looks like? Never seen it. Is it some cereal or what?

Oh that is a doughnut 🍩

I see Americans in TV shows or media eating this stuff.

The only thing I have seen here is this -

We call it bun. Our poor folks eat it with butter by dipping it in tea.

Bagels and Donuts are very different!

Bagels and donuts look same

Bagels aren't sweetened or sprinkled with colors. Doughnuts are sweetened and sprinkled with colorful sweeteners
But they taste very different. You must try them
