Should I get an expander?

I have the choice to get an expander and I do have a narrow palate. But I’m not fully educated on what the difference makes if it was wider and I see on some people a wider palate looks bad or makes their noses wider etc. I think I look decent right now and don’t wanna make any bad moves but I do have bad eye support and bad cheekbone support I just don’t wanna look wide Yknow. Should I get an expander?

If your orthodontist tells you that an expander will be needed for your narrow maxilla, then he should be conscious of the risks you're afraid of, so you should tell him.
