Thoughts on Invisalign?

Wondering if its any use to widen the palate/mouth. My palate isn't very narrow (around 9-10 tooth smile), but I wanted it to be a little wider. Was recommended by the dentist to get it due to the crowded teeth in my mouth. Don't know if a palate expander is any good or even really needed here since its not so narrow. Can Invisalign work in place of an expander here?

The issue is the very back teeth. If those are misaligned right now and fixed by being made straight, wont it expand the palate overall?

The issue is the very back teeth. If those are misaligned right now and fixed by being made straight, wont it expand the palate overall?
