What. I mean, depends on the situation, but no

It just pushes your teeth to the right places, your haw moving with them

In my case it will push the upper lip and lower jaw forward. In your case it will do smth else

Just consult a few orthodontists and ask them about the jaw

Yes obviously, in what case have you seen braces mess up looks? all it does is correct bite which is BENEFICIAL. And also keep consistency in mewing while braces .
 
U might need an expander if your dental arch is caved in
It isn’t the best pic but ur teeth are crowded and you can benefit from braces or invisalign
