i think i have a mild overbite, which i’ve not noticed until now. my ugly ahh chin is stopping me from having better facial proportions and makes me look recessed asf. keep trying to ascend but this is one of the most extreme options for me. lmk if it’s worth getting braces etc

depends

overbite, means that the top teeth cover too much of the bottom teeth, it doesn’t sound like you have an overbite

a overjet/class 2 malocclusion sounds like what your describing, where all the top teeth are more ahead of the bottom ones —> making you look recessed

If you go to the dentist PLEASE SAY YOU DONT WANT EXTRACTION ORTHODONTICS THEY WILL MAKE YOU EVEN MORE RECESSED if the recession if too much then unfortunately the only option is surgery to bring that lower jaw forward
