there are multiple fitness programs out there (p90x, insanity), in which youd be buying stuff for a gym-like space at home (a bunch of dumbells of different weights, chin-up bars, mat, both the fitness and nutrition guide book and other stuff if necessary. i don't have a kindle btw), at least for P90X.

but the problem is: these things cost expensive. it's within my budget tho. but it would use up all of it.

should i just go to gym then and totally follow my trainer? or i should buy those things and follow the program?

any recommendations? thanks

Gym better I think

Just go to the gym. You dont need a course. Just watch yt vids. I cant stand science based lifters. I just do dumbell curls, incline bench, tricwep pulldown, fly machine, lat pulldown.
