Should I sign up for the air force

So basically I got this really good scholarship that I only applied for in case I got into MIT but now if I join the air force I basically get paid like $6000 a year to go to college not including stipends or other allowances. Ive done the math and basically I get paid $107/hour

I want to do other things with my life too. I mean the thing is they’re paying me and I don’t have to commit for a year. I’ve played football since 6th grade and Im kind of tired of a rigged schedule
