I have leave in conditioner from shea moisture and I'm wondering to use it everyday because my scalp is really dry and I don't use hot water but it's flaking, I'm doing no shampoo but I shampooed today because I'm using the conditioner but the shampoo thins my hair. I'm wondering if I should use the leave in everyday and keep doing no shampoo

"Cowashing is using conditioner to wash the hair instead of shampoo. Some people find cowashing helps ease hair dryness and reduce breakage. However, it can also lead to oily residue buildup. Individuals can manage this by using a clarifying shampoo occasionally to remove buildup."
DYOR on this, maybe this could help?

I don't think conditioner will help with your scalp, if anything you shouldn't even apply it there, maybe look for pre shampoo scalp treatment oils or just try out different shampoos with moisturizing ingredients.
