I have been trying to set up a skin care routine. I have combination skin and am using the following products for both my morning and evening cleanse:

1. First cleanse: La Roche Posay Toleraine
2. Second cleanse: Avene Cleanance
3. Moisturizer: CeraVe Ultra Light SPF 30

I've been doing this for a few days and had no problem, but this morning I woke up with super dry skin, especially around my mouth and cheeks. What is going on?

double cleansing and then using a shitty light moisturizer that barely does anything,
u need only the toleriane cleanser in the morning, after use a good hydrating serum/humectant then a thicker occlusive moisturizer/barrier cream that has lipids, ceramides, cholesterol
this happens to me sometimes the way i deal with it is using a more general face moisturizer on the bad area then continuing my usual skincare. It usually works for me after a few days the problem is gone.

maybe you overdone this. try doing it every other day and so on

Useing double cleanser? Is this a method?

Do you wear makeup?
Use a gentle cleanser in the morning or just water if you don’t have bad skin problems.
You can use a light moisturizer before the spf as well since I don’t think it’s that good.

I think the la Roche one doesn’t have any harsh ingredients? You can keep using the combo, but use a good moisturizer at night. I like the rhode barrier restore cream.

I think your skin barrier might be messed up right now, be gentle on your skin and use a barrier support like the ordinary one, the pink one.

makes sense if ur a foid that wears makeup or oily skin cuz it can handle it otherwise u will just damage ur skin barrier for no benefits
Ohhhh…I was following a random guide I found here and it said to use a double cleanser
Makes sense I guess
