sleeping on back

Last night I decided to sleep on my back just to start doing something and it was surprisingly hard to keep still and just lay there on my back until I fell asleep. I kept waking up as well and had trouble with falling back asleep in that position. Usually, I sleep on my sides in a sort of fetal position lol it is just super comfy like that but anyways who has tips on making the back position more comfortable :p
 
For those who repose in a supine position during slumber, it is highly recommended to place a cushion or bolster beneath the knees. This practice serves to facilitate the preservation of the innate lordotic curvature of the lumbar spine, thereby fostering an optimal alignment of the vertebral column. Such an adjustment mitigates undue strain on the lower back musculature and intervertebral discs, contributing to both anatomical harmony and a more restorative state of rest.
