Well for your family and those around you it likely wouldn't be the greatest experience, but depending on the severity of your cognitive impairment, there's a good chance you'd be in blissful ignorance as to how it affects you, so yes, it might actually not be that bad. They tend to be quite joyful.

I had to grab my little sister by the shirt to prevent her from backing into oncoming traffic

only thing she thought to do was ask me to rebutton her shirt
