Ye i know water. There is almost s complete zero chance that you can decide to be stoic.

It‘s dubious if stoicism in itself makes any sense. It‘s such a complicated philosophy that it really is not something for beginners. I still wouldn’t touch it at this point in my life.

How can you have a desireless mind while actively living your life? It really requires many years to even get anywhere close to resembling that state. It is either the result of being present for a long time or the result of relaxing yourself for a long time in different situations or some highly woven tower of emotional suppression.

I don't think many people understand what stoicism actually is anyway

It's not about being desireless, it's about knowing which of these desires control you and refusing to let them run your life
