The “Africans are stupid and Europeans created their civilization” argument collapses once you actually read African history.
Africa already had Kush, Aksum, Ghana, Mali, Songhai, Benin, Kongo and Great Zimbabwe long before European colonialism. All of those great Civilisations flourished independently and all had their own societies and languages. Great Zimbabwe was a major city and trading centre, while Benin developed enormous earthworks and sophisticated metalworking.
And yes, Africa had paved roads thousands of years ago. Ancient Egypt's Lake Moeris Quarry Road dates to roughly 2500–2100 BCE and is recognized as the oldest surviving paved road. Africans also developed highly sophisticated iron-smelting traditions; whether iron metallurgy arose independently in sub-Saharan Africa remains debated, but the evidence for major indigenous African technological innovation is overwhelming.
So no, Africa wasn't waiting for Europeans to “give” it civilization.
The slavery argument also needs actual history. Slavery existed in Africa before Europeans, but European demand for plantation labour in the Americas transformed the trade into an enormous Atlantic system. Sugar plantations created huge demand for enslaved Africans, and European merchants, states and plantation economies profited enormously from it. African rulers and merchants also participated in supplying captives, wich i believe built the foundation for the widespread corruption rampant in africa nowadays. But pretending that this makes the Atlantic system somehow unrelated to European colonial capitalism is historically dishonest.
Colonialism itself brought forced labour, land dispossession, massacres, political repression, exploitation and cultural destruction in different parts of Africa. The British destruction of Benin in 1897 is an obvious example: the city was attacked, the palace burned, the Oba exiled and thousands of royal objects looted and dispersed into European collections. How does that benefit anyone of the locals, it was just selfish because the white man was jealous of the black man since the beginning of time.
Missionaries and later colonial governments also contributed to the suppression or displacement of indigenous institutions and religions in many regions. Meanwhile, Arab and Islamic expansion over earlier centuries transformed and sometimes displaced indigenous religious systems in parts of Africa. None of this means every African abandoned indigenous traditions—many survived and still do.
African countries are major suppliers of cobalt, manganese, copper, bauxite, platinum-group metals and other critical minerals used throughout modern industry, batteries and technology. The IEA estimates Africa supplies around 70% of global cobalt, 75% of manganese and nearly 20% of copper.
And as long as corruption is there then theses materials can be sourced ate extremely cheap prices, wich only benefits the more fortunate.
And Africa isn't some monolithic “race.” UNESCO estimates the continent is home to roughly 1,500–3,000 languages, around a third of the world's languages. An Ethiopian isn't a Nigerian, a Nigerian isn't a Tanzanian, and a Tanzanian isn't a Moroccan. I would even say we are the most diverse Continent culturally and lookswise but ppl will just be ignorant assholes and call us all blacks.
“Africans are genetically inferior.” Is actually a braindead take National IQ statistics cannot magically separate genetics from education, nutrition, healthcare, poverty, disease and institutions. There is many african doctors everywhere in the world you will find one, "why dont they stay in their country", because i think you also would like to have a livable wage after studying to be a doctor.
Our Governments mismanagement and blatant corruption does not represent our beautifull continent as a whole
Colonialism may have changed Africa. Slavery devastated millions of Africans. Foreign powers extracted enormous wealth from the continent. But Europeans did not create African civilization, and Africans did not suddenly become human beings capable of innovation when Europeans arrived.
STOP THE AFRICA HATE.
