Not even that. Paying with Monero is already enough as they are a privacy coin, and their privacy features are exponentially outstanding, which will be further enhanced with Monero's network upgrade which will include FCMP++.
Mullvad does advertise a no log policy, however, they can still monitor traffic coming in, and we are not sure if they actually log or not. I'm not saying Mullvad is a privacy larping honeypot, it's just that we don't know because they have no way to show us that they do not log.
If you're aiming to defend yourself against higher threat models, your mindset must not be "I trust this company will not log my data and traffic details" but it must be "trust no one."
With this case, what I would do to enhance privacy as well as anonymity is that I would buy a residential proxy (access through Tor and pay with Monero ONLY.) can be found in BlackHatWorld or any hacking forum. Then hop on Whonix (best on Qubes), then chain my proxy traffic to
Tor -> Resi proxy. The routing through residential proxy part is optional, but there is a good chance that many sites and applications block Tor exit nodes, so routing your traffic through Tor then through a residential proxy will ease both sides.
