X-rays were taken showing my maxilla upper jaw was in a good place.
It showed my mandble was lower jaw and ressced enough to warrent surgery coverage.

I agree mewing is cope but asking a surgeon if mewing is cope is like asking a male barber if shaving at home would be better

OFC he finna say no n***a his job is to do that for u if u can just grow ur bones at home they wouldn’t spread the word 😭

Your lower jaw is okay, you are a candidate for lf2, not a jaw surgery

If he has normal occlusion, wouldn't need DJS anyways, due to the fact they would need to advance maxilla and mandible to create normal occlusion post-op? I'm no expert btw

Looking back aat the pic you are right, his bite looks nice so two advancements would be needed, his problem is his upper maxilla tho, just look at his nose
 
After surgery u technically have to adapt optimal breathing and posture to avoid relapse, after all u use ur jaw a tonne every movement gradually matters
