my mom told me that a doctor recommended a bimax to me. this happened a few months ago, i didn't know. he also said that It may ruin my face but idrk if that's possible. should i try to convince my parents? Is It worth It?

if a doctor recommended it that means you kind of need it medically, doesnt it? bimax is very invasive, i doubt he’d suggest it unless he thought there was a serious issue

i just have tmj and told him i have issues sleeping. also talked about my facials insecurities to him, maybe he Just wants to help

when it comes to procedures and surgeries, your first priority should be ur health! if you want to get it to fix your medical issues, sure look into it. if youre only considering it for cosmetic reasons, i would advise against it. it will change your face for the better or for the worse. its a coin flip. ur already objectively gl, i dont think taking that risk would be worth it

mandible is short but doesn't ruin the front, chin isn't the best in motion, mouth to nose is noticeable but will get better since i am expanding my palate. i just think getting bimax+ccw rotation can ascend me

the thing is i always wanted a bimax, i probably would get it in the future anyways

I doubt you need it aesthetically-speaking. I would genuinely rate you above Bojack.
It's different if you need it for functional purposes. TMJ, sleep apnea, bruxism, etc.
