My dad has a brother and that is all. My mothers side is pretty disconnected from my mother so Im not too close with them but I have been pretty close to my uncle and the difference between my uncle's family and dads family is pretty stark
We are more of an average family, stable 9-5 job middle class shyt, my parents dont smoke, have never tried a drug in their life, nothing interesting or special about them
whereas my uncles side their daughter was born with a fuck ton of issues (allergies, mental problem etc) cause my aunt drunk and smoked while she was pregnant. the whole family gathers around a computer and gambles on slots its a shit show tbh. my uncle is an "entrepreneur" that sells whatever he can find he wakes up at 11am goes to work for a few hours and comes back
