Discussion the ability to delete accounts / data / information should be a required service on every application

We have to delete your data upon request. This is normally related to device information / emails / IP addresses / similar data. With that being said, anonymizing your post data is enough to meet GDPR and US law standards. It just means the post data is deattached from your stored account/personal data, so the posts are allowed to stay up as long as it's been detached. I asked Dean if accounts on here are truly deleted when a user requests it, and he said yes they are and that accounts cannot be restored.

I do agree though it should be a requirement everywhere.
