This will be a thread I'm sure many can relate to.

When you are above-average looking, you obviously outperform average men when it comes to dating.

When you are of above-average intelligence, you outperform average and below-average people when it comes to cognitively reliant tasks (unless they happen to be a hyper-specialist in said task).

But you will NEVER be good enough to perform better than people who are 7/10 in anything when it comes to looks, brains, or height.

This is something that I have been struggling to grapple with for years.

Your going to have to follow my logic a little bit

when you are learning a new language- and someone talks to you, you are virtually retarded
when you have a understanding but aren't fluent (average non native)- and someone talks to you, its like speaking to a kid
when you are fluent- even if someone has been studying the language there whole life and knowns all the details you can still understand them

I think there is a barer of understanding but once you pass it, then you can at least engage with the concepts
