There no uprise in religion. About 90% of raised atheists remain so and half of people raised religious remain so.

Ofc there's a very low amount of satanists. I think what op and most Christians mean when they spout this bs is that people act in "anti biblical ways" so they must be satanic in nature. Very low iq take that shows no concept of gradients

Religious people have and never will be devout, except from a very rare few. It's debatable if that's even a good thing, religious texts are known to preach alot of extremist bullshit, and when we stop questioning things that's when our personalisation and morals are at risk. People were forced into religion, yes, but they didn't follow it because it's what they truly believed or wanted, or because they were somehow better people back then.

Yes I do agree, I just think the religion of Christianity is extremely twisted, and misinterpreted
I do believe Jesus was a virtuous man, yet Paul the Apostle, instead of following his way of life and inspiring others to do the same, he deified him, beginning to introduce fear and resentment in order to coerce others into submission. This idea of ‘original sin’, salvation, and a divine reward or punishment reduces human virtue into an obligation out of fear.
It is not coming out of an authentic desire to imitate Jesus, it’s a blind obedience and weakness in order to avoid ‘punishment’ and a means to harness power towards those stronger than you
