I remember first playing this game back in kindergarten, sitting in the living room with my brother on the pS2, and it genuinely felt like I’d stepped into a living world. Everything about it the sound design, the score, the way the NPCs moved and spoke it all felt deliberately alive. Nothing was filler. Every noise, every line of dialogue, every ambient track had this weirdly immersive weight to it, like the game knew exactly what emotional frequency it wanted you on.
The map especially set the blueprint in my head for what a video game should be. Every neighborhood had its own identity. Every hallway, classroom, dorm room all of it felt handcrafted, with its own vibe, texture, and purpose. You could walk ten meters and feel like you’d crossed into a completely different ecosystem. It was so packed with detail that even the most random corners felt intentional, like they belonged to the world’s internal logic.
And the music it’s insane how perfectly it captured the tone. Every mission, every transition, every moment had this score that made it feel less like you were “playing levels” and more like you were moving through scenes in a movie. It’s the only game where even just standing still in the world felt meaningful.
The story was genuinely phenomenal. The writing hit this rare balance satirical on the surface but layered enough that every clique, every character, every exaggerated stereotype was actually a commentary. It was funny, sharp, weirdly authentic, and way more self-aware than most games now. Nothing felt lazy. It was crafted.
Perfect 10/10 game
