Man, it was beautiful. Homelander doesn’t just signify a corrupt villain - he’s the driving force behind modern day companies. Him pleading for his life as he tried to gaslight Butcher serves an allegory about power; power is a mask when given to the wrong people, not a tool.

Seeing him powerless was insane, I feel like that part wasn’t long enough

Agreed, I wish they played it out a bit more. It still feels like a shock to me, because seeing him powerless after watching him be a walking horror movie for several seasons feels so odd. Truly beautiful
