A glass must be empty before it can be filled. The human mind is the same someone who claims to know everything has left no room for anything new. Following in Socrates' footsteps, the question we should ask is do we approach wisdom as our knowledge increases, or when we realize the infinity of what we don't know?
What are your thoughts on this matter? I'm generally curious to hear your opinions.

I think it goes further than “we cant know everything”. We cant know anything. Objective reality cannot be defined by one human perspective, but only with every perspective that is, was, could be, and never will be.

Even though we might experience the same object, our perspectives are different in the biggest and smallest differences. With the infinite amount of different perspectives, who is to say that either of ours perfectly aligns with the correct understanding of the object.

I think its still important to gather as many perspectives as you can, and strive to define and understand things, even though its impossible without being all knowing.

What you've described reminds me of the famous story of 'The Blind Men and the Elephant' In the dark each blind person who touches the elephant identifies it according to where they touch (a snake if it's a trunk a column if it's a leg). None of their identifications are wrong, but none are the whole elephant. As you say, 'we can know nothing' actually means 'none of us can know everything alone. This leads us not to arrogance, but to the wisdom of togetherness and dialogue.
