In this consumerist society where everyone believes more and bigger is better, this also reflects on the way we evaluate the success of a man.
Somehow a bigger house, with multiple girls and multiple cars is more impressive than having a loving wife and children.
And I mean I get where they're coming from, its more "work" to get rich. But in the end it's wasted effort. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing to have money, because that means you can provide for your close ones, which is a good trait. But I doubt that's what these people have in mind.
Well in the end it's just a thing of values, where I think we have very wrong standards today.
I'd choose a loving family with land and a house over 100 million dollars any fay of the week.
Water take tbh
