Every single day,I see some random dumb fuck of a doctor saying “Eat this plant for antioxidants” or take this and that. What if I told you it’s an all a big lie. The “anti oxidants” actually increase oxidation.
Polyphenols and other phytonutrients are not beneficial,they’re branded as antioxidants and anti inflammatories despite doing the complete opposite. If you consume a non ripe plant which is not a fruit such as basil for example,the toxins which are known as “antioxidants” don’t prevent oxidation and it increases it. It’s the bodies reaction that is anti oxidative,once you consume it your body will use its real antioxidants such as L-glutathione,Vitamin E,cholestrol and more to antagonize the oxidative stress. That’s why most plant based eaters have higher levels of L-glutathione systematically,because their bodies are trying to fight off the cause that’s causing oxidative stress. It’s never beneficial,it’s damaging because you constantly put your body in a state of releasing histamine and increase oxidative stress then to lower it with your own anti oxidants that other cells are limitedly protected by them.
Simply avoid green plants,consume fruit and the juices which might contain an actual antioxidant vitamin C.
