This may sound retarded but here me out
I've thought about this for months
This is simply based on porosity and folicals
Science has proven that the higher the porosity of your hair the better it takes in product right?
Adding that "hot water isn't good for your hair" due to hot water opening the folicals and cold water closing them/keeping them closed
Well based on that I beleive hot water CAN be good for you if you stick to the correct routine
-rinse hair nearly fully wet, with cold water (keeps folicals closed)
-and then shampoo, roots to midends, focusing on scalp for health and growth
- when rinsing out shampoo use hot water to open up the folicals making hair more open to moisture
-Put conditioner and leave for 5 minutes
-rinse conditioner out with cold again to reclose them
With this theory its basically just keeping it closed with semi damaging products but allowing repairing and smoothing products to be more thoroughly in the hair and retain the shine
Thank you for reading
If im wrong entirely please correct me.
