Serious The year should end in February

January and February are such depressing months, in the UK at least

The new year starting in march would be much more enjoyable
I wish I was in the UK during winter just to get the full

Near dark is great
The whole album is damn excellent. What do you think of it ? Any special memories, feelings or thoughts linked to it ?

I don’t think I’ve listened to it all, maybe I will tomorrow now you’ve reminded me of it

And yes, mainly near dark and etched head plate, how about you?

The whole album is a damn masterpiece, it's said to be the soundtrack of a grey rainy urban UK. Archangel is the track that got me into the whole album and Burial as its the most popular one and encapsulates well the whole album. Near dark is quite underrated. The selftitled track is imo the cinematic climax of the album, it's quite devastating, kinda like slowly blacking out at a party while reminiscing about a hurtful moment in your life.

In the whole, despite being an electronic album, it's a deeply human and emotional experience that is presented. It's a bit like reminiscing about a love interest you've long seen but isn't quiting your mind. I have so much stuff to say on this album and unfortunately this post is a mere resume of what I'm tryna express concerning what I consider to be a masterpiece. My fav tracks are : Archangel, Near Dark, Ghost Hardware, Endorphin, In McDonald's, Untrue, Homeless and Raver.

I’d definitely agree with that, it reminds me a lot of parts of London, Leeds and Newcastle and 100% there’s a rainy theme there

I can’t remember archangel that well, or the self titled track so I’ll have to listen to those

Exactly. That’s why I love near dark so much, recent events have made that much stronger too, coincidentally

His other stuff on his debut album and his few EPs after Untrue are also great. Fostercare is one of my fav tracks by him but it's not well known.

I’ll definitely have to listen to these tomorrow. Funnily enough it will be very grey and rainy and I’m in a city, so it’s fitting
