They should though, don't they know the valuable and important work discord mods contribute to the maintenance of the safety and order of society as a whole ? It may seem insignificant, but they're the representatives of justice, law and order online and they should be owed unconditional respect for their service. And the fact that they do it without a remuneration makes it all so more honorable.
