Serious They should stop focusing on graphics in games tbh

I mean some games like gta obviously need to be a real world crime fantasy but most slop just takes years to make so they can make high definition armpit hairs or some shit

highkey yea. Graphics are nice for aesthetics but some old games like fallout new vegas are just so much better in regards to mechanics compared to new ones that they are more fun/engaging to play despite being ugly

That’s cause developers put all the time into graphics

Ever since photo mode became popular it ruined games cause that meant putting time into things like hairs coming out of facial pores or some shit you’d never even see in normal gameplay

Making a good game with good graphics requires huge development time like we see with gta 6 just not worth it for it avarage game atp

I agree. fancy graphics work best for games where building an overall vibe is really important, like cyberpunk for example. But for some games like forza horizons 5, the graphics are overkill and unnecessary

I mean yeah most games ur brain literally focuses most on the UI and objective

Unless it’s some immersive game like cyberpunk where u need to get immersed in the city there’s no reason to make all these trees that look so high quality when nobody is even looking at them
