Dogs are tedious creatures. They lick you, make a lot of noise, and then you also need to feed and walk them several times a day.

Mental headache, financial headache, time consuming.

I live in the countryside so I don't need to walk them. They go by themselves but I would have no issue with it

Also when you love them so much, it is not that hard.

Feed them three times a day+snacks, clean their "house", i bathe them and cut their hair and it feels like nothing.

I don't complain about their affection...I love it!

They are also very chill and friendly to people

Fair enough, living on the country side would make it a lot better and the majority would agree with you I presume. Human - Animal bonds are just something that I intrinsically don't understand.

They may be, but what's the point? To me having a dog is similar to adopting someone with downsyndrome. Both just seem like major headaches, but I know that I'm the anomaly.

Don't worry...I don't understand human-human bonds. Would choose my dogs with no remorse over most people
