he became popular for his looks. however, people started to compare him with another attractive guy on tiktok. it became a thing where people chose sides, and he 'lost the mog battle'. coincidentally around the time he was losing, he started to create ironic and cringey content, purposefully making himself look unattractive too.

my theory is that it was to avoid embarrassment from losing against a more attractive man. he played it off as intentional, and it worked. i remember there would be comments saying that he isnt afraid to be comedic and perceived as unattractive, and therefore became more popular.
