Serious This is not self improvement forum

Sometimes I laugh at how some people call this a self-improvement forum.

Let’s be honest—most people here have only a small or average understanding of looksmaxxing, and they just use this site as a way to talk to others. What actually happens here? People doxx, insult each other to their faces or behind their backs, act genuinely racist or like egotistical narcissists who are deeply insecure on the inside.

I’ve been here for about a year, so I can say a lot about how this site works and the kind of people who frequent it. Every time I talk to someone here, they turn out to be deeply hurt and not feeling good enough because of their looks—even though most of them don’t even look bad, and some are conventionally attractive. And what do they do? They get even more insecure by sitting here, in an extremely toxic incel space.

No one actually improves here. This forum is full of stupid, autistic drama between lonely teenagers who can’t properly socialize. People insult you for no real reason—out of jealousy, maybe—or lie about you to make you look bad. It’s happened to me more times than I can count.

So my question is: why do you stay here? Don’t lie to yourself. You can’t find real friends here. You can’t really improve here. Boredom? That’s just a cope. The stuff I read here from people, unironically, is all the result of trauma and not feeling good enough—but it’s not really about looks.

Most normies are LTN or MTN, and they enjoy the hell out of their lives. Your looks are just an excuse to stay here. U are trapped
It's not just this forum. Quality of content everywhere has totally decreased because everyone is either low IQ or generally unserious (even if they're smart they don't feel like using their brain most of the time). You won't find any public self improvement forums with new & genuine advice/ways of thinking/information and good discussion.

Sites with higher traffic are the same. Scrolling .is's Politics, Philosophy & Religion section for one minute caused my 21st chromosome to begin mutating.

The only solution is to detach from the culture and keep an eye out for gems. There will usually be one or two out of the masses. Take the valuable and leave the rest behind.

I mean this isn't a self improvement forum the only reason I come on here is because I don't have people to talk to outside of school & the gym, and I refuse to dwell on instagram.
So you are correct, I'm not chopped nor am I a chad, I'm average & although being on this site has helped me improve my looks(I no longer get acne, & now my face in recovery mode) So its not as bad as on may think

The frustration we experience from communities like this is just... normal everywhere. Most people won't put in any effort, most people won't make any change, and most people won't do anything other than what already makes them comfortable. This is frustrating, because we expected people in these communities to act differently, but why would we assume that?

It makes sense why you would assume by default that a self improvement forum would attract people who seek self improvement. The reality of it is, though, only a small portion of the population has the discipline or emotional capacity to actually make enough dramatic change in their lives for it to be note worthy enough to share with others. Very small %. Even in spaces dedicated to it, it's a small %. People who hate themselves? Well, that's more common.

I wrote more than this, but I ended up deleting it. I guess that's an example of how the 'negative' culture effects how users interact with the site. 🤷‍♂️
